Kelcey Matheny is a New York City based teacher and performer originally from Bradford, Tennessee. Kelcey is currently in the cast of 42nd Street at the Fulton Theatre. She is on dance faculty at Coupe Theatre Studio, Woodglen Elementary School, and the assistant choreographer at New Generation Theatre. Her New York credits include In the Heights at Gallery Players, Legally Blonde, Broadway Takes Two and the Choreographers Canvas at the 92nd Street Y, and the tap dance musical Song and Dance Men. Kelcey has also performed with Caston and Company and Mark Albrecht. Other performance credits include Dance St. Louis’ Spring to Dance Festival and the Dancing in the Streets Festival in St. Louis, Missouri. Kelcey has choreographed and taught for dance studios in Kentucky, Tennessee, Missouri, and New York. She received her BFA in Dance from Southeast Missouri State University and was a graduate of Broadway Dance Center’s Professional Semester program.
